Privi Partisan Soft Point Rifle Ammunition

Last year, my daughter hunted with this ammo loaded into her .243 rifle. A six point buck presented a shot at about 80 yards or so and her bullet did the rest. The buck bounded away at the shot but toppled in mid-stride after a run about the length of a school bus. This ammo is a keeper!

I bought a small lot (100 rds or so) of 7.62x54r/150gr Privi for a PSL, and from my rifle, the ammo would not group satisfactorily. I ended up pulling the slugs, dumping the powder, and using the cases and projectiles in my reloads.

My results, with my rifle.......others may do better.

Danoobie, I agree about the PPU ammo. I have fired just about every thing through most of my rifles. PPU shoots good through my Mod94, AR15, SKS, and my 1891 Argentine. It is probably one of the most consistent brands I have found.

The only gripe I've had with PPU was with the .30-30, for whatever reason, they get sticky on ejection with my Winchester 94. Every other PPU round I've tried does great.
