In the last two mid-term elections the same sort if dire predictions were surfaced about Democrats taking over and this California wealthy broad Pelosi taking over as Minority=>Majority Leader. It didn't happen then and I am not sure it will happen next month...sure the Republicans will lose seats and yes it will be tight. But in order to win the majoirty of seats in the House, lots of Americans have to be convinced than Dems can do better and I just don't see that happening... I'll just stay quiet and watch the returns but I just don't see a huge Democrat wave now... not with the Stock Market at 12,000 and gas at $1.98/gal and the economy booming...
The thing no one seems to be worried about is a Republican anti gun Presdient
and a Democratic Congress with a slim majority in both the House and Senate.
I dont think the balance is going to shift drastically to the Democrats in the House. It could just barely go over in the Senate or the Republicans would hang in for the majority by a couple of seats.

Let them gridlock, keeps them out of trouble. A do nothing Congress is an effective Congress. Sort of like the Hells Angels and the Nomads, either group gets control watch out, give them rough equality and let them fight it out, keeps the rest of us off the radar.
