It kind of depends on what the conditions are. A snubbie for light clothing concealment, or a 6" or longer for coat weather. All in 357 Magnum, of course.

Always: NAA .22Magnum Mini-Master - 4" barrel, Millet sights.

Sometimes: Ruger SP101 .357 - 2" barrel, Ashley-Outdoors front sight.

First choice at the moment.

2½" round butt Bangor Punta Model 19 six shot in my favorite 9mm.....the 9X32R. With a NY reload.

Sam....bang is good, BANG is more gooder.

It rolls between 3 pre-agreement S&W revolvers...

I voted for 5-shot .38 snub, as my 042 is what I carry most often, in a pocket holster.

I also carry the 2.5" Model 19 or the 4" Model 19 in horizontal shoulder holsters.

VERY OCCASIONALLY I'll carry either the 4" Model 28 or the 4" Model 58 in a Bianchi vertical shoulder holster.

Carry?

For open carry, it's be a 5.5 inch N frame S&W in 44 Special.
For concealed, it's a "cutdown" M 10 in 38 Special.

I'd like to have another 2.5" M19.

A better poll would have been with brand names...then we could have one of those Taurus, Smith competitions that get all heated and then those Taurus guys would start bombarding us with pictures and we'd retaliate with our two 442 pictures and then we'd all go out for a drink and laugh about it later...

Well, I only have one revolver so I had to skew the poll results. My vote was for my Ruger Bisley-Vaquero .44 w/ 5½" barrel :)

Currently it's a Rossi 720 Covert in .44 Special, although I desperately want a *&* 296, just haven't found a used one yet... :(

I'm with ya Runner ... 44mag Super Blackhawk when I'm in the woods ... But HAY howcome there wasn't a 22LR listed? Thats my primary deep concealment (in town), unless there is something scarry going on.

I couldnt decide between my 2" model 60 concealed carry gun in 38 special or my 4" 629 woods gun ,they both get about equal carry time so I chose the 629.Thats pretty funny about those taurus guys and their pictures, they sure are clever fellows

I'm assuming you mean preferred concealed carry revolver, right? In that case it's a 2" Taurus 38 special. I can easily conceal it in a pocket, it's 100% reliable and I know I can hit what I aim at with it.

If by 'preferred carry revolver' you mean when I'm out in the boonies then it's a totally different story. In that case I prefer a 4" N frame S&W loaded with heavy 44 Special or 45 Colt loads.
