Preferred .44 BP revolver

Even at 50 yards? I know the colts will group well but I just feel a Remington stands the chance to throw less flyers or group tighter. Maybe you've got a great fitting colt and it's just as good? I don't know. But I'm just talking in a general sense. And again it's just my feelings on the idea. I'm not wrong nor am I right. This isn't about that.

I've had good many Colt's and Remingtons both over the years. I always have shot Colt's better. Most of my shooting is done at 25-30 yards but I do stretch it out now and then. I shoot off hand so maybe the way the Colt's feel and handle has something to do with it.
