i was hunting kudu when we saw this problem child. the landowner said he will give me a springbuck on the house to hunt if i can kill the jackal.
this one went down on my friends farm to his 243. the dominant male of that area.
this old guy was a real problem, he used to attack the cows when they were in labour. i get $120 for the first jackal of the night and then for each jackal after that i ask about $70. it is not much but it pays for my reloading expences and keep me in tune for the hunting season.
Airgun Coyote and Bobcat from this last week here on the Wet Side of Oregon. The coyote was my first taken while using my own calls....the bobcat was stalked ans spotted, and is my first bobcat. About a 15lb female! (14.5lbs after bleeding out for a few hours of hiking).
I think it's a BS photoshop to tell you the truth. I cant prove it but I seriously doubt the valitidy of it. It it's real then DAMN. But I doubt it. Regardless, I'll shoot every lion I can. So far this policy has produced zero dead lions
During all firearms training I have taken I've always been told, during a stressful situation you can expect to only be about 1/2 as good as when you train. Either that statement is false, or this guy never trained. Hell, all he could do was get malled. Ouch! I wonder what the outcome was. Doesn't look good....
2/4/11 - It is hard to see all three in the top pic. I called in 4 & put 3 down. It was quite interesting. Ice in the mag caused a load problem on the 2nd shot. I'm not sure I would have got coyote #2 & #3 with out my MOJO Critter.
