I like balance scales too. Aside from the fact that gravity power is extremely consistent and ubiquitous (at least, in the space/time where we all currently reside), I actually enjoy the ritual of set up; zeroing, check weights, etc. It's part of my enjoyment of loading. My time at the load bench is therapeutic; the ammunition that comes from it is just a beneficial by-product
.But balance scales are time consuming and a bit of a hassle. So I understand why electronic and auto-fill scales are popular. Just not my thing. I do have a 20g electronic jewelry scale that comes in handy at times.
