powder dump static

I used my RCBS powder measure last evening and it has no powder clinging to the sides when I empty it. It is mounted on the same bench as my LNL powder measure. Why would one have a problem and not the other ? The RCBS I have had since the mid 70's and the LNL is about 6 months old.

I do not know; I do not have a Hornady powder measure. There are a number of things I do not get into mortal combat with, most of those things I do not get into mortal combat with are things I can not change. If I use a powder measure it is going to be a RCBS Uniflow or Little Dandy. I could use a Viable, Hollywood Gun Shop, Herter, Redding, Ohaus etc.. Problem, in the big inning all my powder measures could have suffered from 'that cling' but for some reason I have not noticed it recently. And then there are my old measures with new hoppers. The hoppers on 2 of my Little Dandy measures split and become loose, RCBS replaced them with new tubes, the new tubes are clear; again I have not noticed powder clinging to the new tubes.

It was so dry here this summer I had to just not load for a while. That is tough to do when one has limited time:mad: Later I did the wash in dishwasher detergent, rinse, air dry protocol for the funnels, medicine bottles, etc. and this works. I have not had much success with the dryer sheets method.
