Powder check

The quote.... from the OP "Last bit of information is that this is Hogdon Titegroup and has been sitting out there for a week."

I would prefer that, for me, I absolutely know EXACTLY this is the powder or I would NOT be using it....

how long it sat is not a red flag for me...KNOWING without ANY doubt what Exactly what powder is my concern

In my opinion a typical plastic hopper does not hold enough of some questionable powder ---cost wise-- to take the dare and make potentially bad hand loads

And I am one very fruggle bugger....but a hopper can only hold a few bucks worth of powder

For me only way I would use it is if I had opened the can and poured it in myself

OP here. Just to set the record straight I let him borrow the press and I actually gave him my titegroup powder for his use. I may be new to reloading but the one thing I am religious about is knowing exactly what I am using when I load and making sure that I use the proper load data because the last thing I need is to over charge and have the gun blow up in my face. I also don't mix the powders for the reasons listed by most of these posters. The real question that I had was whether it was safe to use powder that had been sitting out in the hopper for a week or so. I do appreciate the fact that everyone has been sincere about the dangers without being really rude about it. Thats why I feel like I can post questions that I am not too sure about here and not feel like I am going to catch hell for it.
