The case has a 1960 Colt National Match Stock, 2 series 80 Colt Gold Cup Trophies stock, and a Nowlin Crusader.

The other two Colts are Special Combats from the Colt Custom Shop, stock.

Why change what is already right!!!

Really sweet collection, now your pushin my buttons
with that springfield, looks like a real workin gun.
Thats my weakness, the guy with worn out leather
and no blue left on the back strap the one to watch out for.

fortyfiveshooter,

Is that last one you pictured one of these, perchance?

This is the only pic of my Colt Combat elite with a bunch of Wilson parts, also with a BHP and a couple of Microtech knives!

Series 80 Gold Cup accurized by Alex Hamilton of Ten-Ring precision. Magazines are Metalife loaded with speer 200 grain Gold Dot.

The Holster is Milt Sparks VMII Black Horsehide designed by Tony Kanaly.

the Series 80 passive firing pin block remains in place.
the sight is Wilson Combat. Videcki Trigger. Alex checkered the front strap and the finish is matte TR GunKote

The gun as it came from the factory would get X-ring accuracy with targe wadcutters and a number of circa 200 grain premium loads but was less accurate with various 230 grain loads and Ball ammo was very inaccurate. Hamilton tightened the slide and welded up the original barrel and it is now capable of X ring accuracy with everything I've tried. It has never jammed (yet) with good ammunition though it has choaked on a few bad reloads of mine

On the rare occasions that I carry an Auto-Pistol, this is the one- the VMII is tuckable and will hide the gun under a shirt. Primary uses are training new shooters and qualifying for Texas Concealed Handgun Instructor Cert every couple of years.

This is a great thread. I love seeing all these great 1911's, so much style. Here's my everyday carry rig (Kimber Eclipse, Wilson mags and Milt Sparks VM-2 Holster).
