Replaced barrel because of bulged chamber and the front sight cause it was too tiny. Then I squared up the rear sight notch and bobbed the hammer a little, just the sharp pointy end.

Here's my 45 with her little sister the HK P2000 and their cousin the SRKW Camp Tramp. I really liked the feel of the hogue wraps but then I saw the light, and got my SA 1911 Custom Loaded a nice new pair of wood grips. how do you guys like the contrast now? I love maple burl on a black gun. Sorry my digital camera doesn't hold a candle to most of your shots...here they are nonetheless.

And with her new grips installed.....ahhhhhhhh classic wood.
