Thanks for the replies. Everytime I try to post a picture it fails but my favorite is my only one, my Smith and Wesson Model 29 44 magnum! 6 inch barrel, wood grips, blued finish.
 
Skidder, you've got me drooling over that 6" security six. I was all ready to buy one on gunbroker last month when my car broke down...

Is that a Model 19?

I have a 19-3 that looks just like that gun that was a police trade-in and is marked "W.P.D" followed by the number "142" (both visible above trigger). It even has the same grips as the one in your pic. I'm thinking about sending it to S&W to get reblued.

Hard to decide but at least today, this is my favorite revolver K22.

And yes, I do have the original grips packed away. These are just a lot more comfortable for me. And yes, I do shoot this early '50s Smith, alot.
 
Has to be .45 Colt of course and blued... and a Single Action to boot ... So the favorite 'right now' is the .45 convertible flattop on the left in following picture.
