Post Pics of your Favorite CZ!

I appreciate the heads up on the use of the flag, but I read the code and don't see where I was it violation of it.

Because "Charles" a Garand collector had posted a number of pictures like this, I emailed the Flag Protocol officer at the American Legion, and he responded that this use was not appropriate, and cited the following:

At: Legion Flag Code "Respect for the Flag." you may find that some or all of these apply.

(b) The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.

(c) The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free.

(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be
festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free.

(g) The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.

Man. you guys have some really nice CZs! Those old pre-Bs, satin nickel, dual tones, compacts, heck I like them all!

Daedalus, I picked up the CZ-70 at a gunshow for $120. There were three of them there (different vendors) and it's rare to see any CZs at gunshows around here, so I took it as a sign that I needed to go home with one! It was used and apparently the previous owner either lost or wore out the blonde. ;)

I really like shooting it, it's fun, very reliable and accurate. However, after shooting it for a while, I found it a bit uncomfortable for my large hands do to all the hard edges and the ribbed trigger.

I decided to take it apart, round off all the sharp edges and smooth the trigger with a dremel, some fine sandpaper, Scotch Brite and a lot of patience. Once I got it right, I stippled the front strap and refinished it with silver Gunkote.
