Possible prevention of total Assault Weapons Ban?

the gov't does provide food and shelter to people who have given up their freedom it's called low income housing
as for involuntary giving up freedom they call it prison
 
How about they offer 5 grand for any AW brought in by someone who can prove that they are not allowed to own it because they are a felon or on violence related probation etc.
