I don't own a P97, but have plenty of time behind the wheel with them. The grips aren't even close to the same size IMO, and the fell on them is totally different (esp. on 3rd gen. G21's with the finger grooves). Don't know the measurements but I do know the feel in the hand, and they're way, WAY different.

Got a polymer gun this year and never had a second thought. Said goodbye to 7 metal framed guns and never cried a single tear.

But then I was psychologically prepared, with a 20 year old plastic polymer canoe and a 30 year old fiberglass polymer sailboat that are both tough as nails and show no sign of breaking. How many 30 year old steel or aluminum boats have you seen recently?

Those who think plastic guns are cheaply made should handle and fire HK USPs. They are not cheaply made and they are not cheap with their high price tags.
