Police take mans guns out of his home

Wayne, the way I meant that was in the same sense as the bumper sticker slogan, "If you're not outraged, then you're not paying attention."

Sort of like saying that anyone who is watching what the F is going on would HAVE to be really pissed off about the sickeningly bad state of things.

Thank you TheeBadOne. I found it difficult enough to keep on replying as English is not my native language.

But I am very pleased there are people like you that can see the three through the woods.

I am also around on our national weapon forums. And find that too many times people take things out of context. And as you say, that isn't doing us any good.

TheeBadOne is mostly bad at reading what I wrote, and worse at trying to guess what I didn't say. My point was that he "made a mistake" (put on your reading glasses next time), which could happen to anyone who didn't have their head screwed on right. Even a doozy of a mistake. As for "poor schmuck", that term is never taken as an endorsement of someone. (Obviously I would have no issue applying it in your direction, as a return of the favor granted me.) As far as what had happened prior to the police being summoned, I didn't see much about that, but I certainly know enough not to stone someone because of early media reporting.
If you still just have to vent, TBO, go right ahead. I would expect no less.

37mm launchers are not NFA weapons, they're flare or gas launchers. They've been available for years. 40mm is the standard grenade size. Now I'm sure you could make grenades for a 37mm.... but just so we're clear... 37mm launchers used to be pretty readily available... and didn't seem to ever come with any real grenades. Now if you want an m203 40mm... then you're in NFA territory. Just a thought.

"Other than shooting at the police officer, what did this person do that was wrong?"

Stupid in public? Well, there should be a law against it if there isn't and using a rifle to scare his girlfriend is stupid. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Meanwhile, there's always the the attempted murder charge to keep him off the street.
