Pocket holster

Rec'd my Mika holster today and already have it in my pocket. Feels pretty good but so far not really much different than Uncle Mike's no.3. Some say the longer you carry it the better you will like it. We'll see.

The difference, if it's like mine, is a reinforced top and it grips your pocket better than the UM. Easier to reholster and a surface to push of of as you're drawing the weapon.

Did you get the flat or rounded bottom? If it doesn't work out, give me a ring if it's the flat bottom. Mine's rounded and doesn't work in all my pants.

Anyone considering a pocket holster should look at the Bianchi. I have two of them, they work, have the same features as others, more expensive ones. I have two that I have used for about three years now and they did not have a premium cost.
Two of the negative reviews at the Midway site: "...a little thick...". Begs the question: If they want thin, then buy a cloth pocket holster and see how that works out for them. "...does not fit every pocket...". The same with this one. Does any pocket holster fit every pocket?

These are darn good holsters at a modest price...why pay more?

Mika; DeSantis Nemnesis...

Many firearm owners & working cops like the Mika pocket rig. It has merit but I purchased a new DeSantis Nemnesis pocket holster for my Protector snub .357magnum in 2004 & had 0 problems. The sticky synthetic material of the DeSantis style is great & protects the J frame revolver while assisting in deep concealment.

The prices are decent too, ;).

I used a Nemesis or Mika for my j-frame, but recently sold the gun ... however, both work just as well with the Ruger LCR in .22mag that I bought a few weeks ago ... as for kydex pocket holsters, bought one for my EDC Kahr PM9 but hated it and don't use it anymore ... too stiff, too much work getting the gun out cleanly ... love the look of the Andrews, tho, might have to try one out ...
