Pocket Gun/CCW

Hello from Texas:) ! I hope this will enlighten some perspectives about Concealed Carry. I personally carry a Glock 36 in a High Noon Sky High OWB holster, rigged on their Rock Steady 1 1/2" gun belt. I also use their IWB Mr. Softy when wearing just a t-shirt and shorts, clipped to the same belt. The Mr. Softy is a "tuckable" IWB holster and is great ! The Glock 36 is just a tad larger than the 19,about a quarter inch I believe. The knowledge of having six rounds of 230 grain Hydra shok .45 ACP,plus one in the snout and a spare mag in a back pocket is enough to convince me that, although mouse guns are nice to have and "better than no gun at all"...I prefer a solid reliable defensive round.
I also carry a Smith & Wesson 640 .357( removed the stock grip and installed the smaller boot grip), topped with 5 rounds of .38 Spec. +P Speer Gold Dot 125 grain JHP's,in a matching Mr. Softy, and a Bianchi stripper clip as a spare reload ,when I am wearing shorts ,tank top/t-shirt and flip flops during the hot Texas summers.
None of these pistols print or cause any discomfort what so ever ! I suggest a GOOD gun belt, and holster. So many folks spend big $$$'s for a carry gun and spend a few bucks for a cheap-o holster and belt...only to get frustrated of bad fit, and discomfort from a poor choice of holsters and belts...Your Glock 19 is a very, very good choice in a carry gun...Now focus on your carry rig and I believe you will be carrying in comfort ,confidence and with a "proper" defensive round when the chips are down. :)

I've carried all kinds of guns in my pocket. Single shot derringers, Berretta .22 with the tip up barrel, Kel-Tec P32 and I currently carry a Bersa .380 CC in my pocket. The Seecamp set the standard for pocket pistols. As far as people seeing your weapon, dress in looser clothing. I wear Coulumbia shirts size large. They hide my Glock 19 just fine.
