Please Post Pics of your IWB Setup

I've got a calling for an IWB in Glock 19, LC9, PM9 or a good ol' fashioned snubby. Current weopon is a Glock 19 EXO but I could add another gun to the stable if a certain setup strikes me the right way.

My Stats: 5'9 160lbs

Let's see how your setup (any gun) works with some pics.

Here is my favorite: the first view is totally tucked, the second view is the same rig untucked.

May God bless,
Dwight

Dwight, I have never seen one you can tuck that has the lops that go on the belt. Does it still conceal well if your shirt is not that bloused out over it? I really like thoughts lops as opposed to a metal or plastic clip. I take it this holster is from the site listed on your signature? If so then I will definitely be looking into getting one.

Dwight55 holster should not be used with a tuck in shirt, if someone sees you at 3 o'clock they are going to wonder what are the two buckles on his belt. Maybe a phone to cover one but still. I would cover the buckles of the holster.
I like your holster very much, conceals well.

Let's begin our fashion show at the top with top line products.

Here is my Milt Sparks VersaMax II sporting a lovely, but deadly, 1911 Ed Brown SF Carry. J-hooks are optional and allow the holster to be converted into a tuckable holsters. Very comfortable for extended periods of time:

Another entry from the Sparks collection is this Summer Special II. Easy on and off, the SS-II is shown here with the lightweight Sig C3 1911. The two seem to be made for each other:

The bargain "Tuck This" ensemble from De Santis carries a pistol and a spare mag, if desired. Completing the bargain theme is a Bersa .380, a reliable handgun at a reasonable price:

For concealed fun at the beach, might I suggest a small pocket pistol in a carry holster? This is an inexpensive Uncle Mike's pocket holster, reinforced by the plastic binding off a school folder. It carries the lightweight Ruger LCP:

I have other IWB options available but no photos. I hope you have enjoyed the fashion show. :)

After a lot of experimenting with different types of IWB holsters, from the cheapest to the most expensive, it's the cheapest one that ended up working the best for me. A $12 Uncle Mike's #36, modified for deeper carry by relocating the belt clip higher on the holster.

My daily carry gun is a 340 M&P with full-sized S&W J frame grip.

Also attached is a little graphic that I made using my 340 M&P and one of my comparably sized semi auto, the Walther PPS 9mm. (black line represents the top of the belt line) With both in their carry position - grip just at the top of the belt line, you can see how the shape of the revolver allows more of it to be carried beneath the belt line - very little to stick up and jab me in the side, especially when I'm driving the car (ie-sitting position)

After a lot of experimenting with carry guns, holsters, and methods of carry, this DAO J frame / Uncle Mike's IWB set-up works the best for me.

Sorry about the photo quality. I was using my phone cam. Poor resolution.

As you can tell, I prefer Appendix carry. I've tried 2 o'clock around to 5 o'clock. The two smaller holsters are okay for that. The minotaur works best at 4 to 5 o'clock.

I recently purchased a Galco TUC (much like the USA and Deep covers above)for my LCP, but haven't done a "glamour shot" with it yet. Might get it in tonight.
