Pistol for bear protection

I've got some new stuff on the "artillery" page. Pictures of a skull and full head with bullet trajectories that demonstrate why a frontal forehead shot on a bear doesn't work.
It isn't that the bone is that tough - its just that theres no brain behind the forehead. I don't how to paste images here in firingline, but those two images are pretty instructive - if anyone wants to paste them in here, feel free.
Also, for anyone that wants to pass along the page, I actually have a usuable domain name now - one that you can remember. You can still use the old URL, but also now can link through www.bearbite.com (bearmaul was "taken").

Here's the problem with these pics, please correct me if I'm wrong:
In the top two, the bear's snout it pointed "upwards" at an angle you're only likely to see if he's reared up on his hind legs. On all fours, his snout will be pointed more "downward" as seen in the lower "distance shot" pic.
In any case, the pics make it clear: that "forehead bone" is tough as hell and at a slope that gives it additional "armor" properties, PLUS it's got a lot of muscle/hide/fur on it making it a big appealing target for an ignorant human looking for that "certain shot".

Jim (and Keith) the pictures in the above post don't seem to work. As you can see, I tried them as links and they still don't work. Xoom seems to be intercepting the call to the jpg. I can see them if I open the URL in a window. ??
I suppose members will just have to go to Keith's site to view them.
