One loooong winded thread. Seem it should be posted under Hunting as the quastion seems too be what caliber is best for hunting Big Game where Killing Power is essential so you don´t have to go looking for a wounded animal.
Getting hit by a bullet is going too hurt like hell, so just how much damage do you have too do in order to eliminate the threat? a 22lr is enough to take the fight out of pretty much anyone, hell, just showing the assailent your armed will send them running as they are cowards at heart.
The Quastion should be "do I want to stand trial for killing someone or for shooting someone"?
