Pietta 1862 Colt New York Met Police, .36

From the Krist web site.

The Kirst 5-shot, .32 S&W caliber Konverter is for Uberti made replicas. Colt's 1849 Pocket Model is 25% smaller than the Colt Navy revolver which makes this a great pocket pistol for SASS side matches. It can even be used as a main match revolver; because it can be carried with 5 loaded rounds and the hammer down on a safety notch. This Konverter comes with a ported breech ring for quick and easy loading. All Kirst Konverters carry a lifetime "No B.S." warranty, plus they are made with pride in the good, old U.S.A.

jcowan, I can see that the Dark Side is reaching out for you.
Embrace it and you too can begin the long road downward to more black powder guns than you can ever use and still want more.

Don't ask me how I know.

old thread

NOZ this is an old thread. Since then I have aquired an 1851 Navy, 1862 Pocket Navy, 1862 Pocket Police, 1858 Remington, 1849 Wells Fargo and 1860 Army. The third model Dragoon is next.

Strange that the Pietta 1862 Police is a reproduction of a gun that technically never existed and yet, I love the look, feel and six-shot capability better than I do the 'pocket' model 5-shooters.
