Pictures of your reloading bench/equipment

Still under construction but am getting anxious to load some rounds. Will send more photos when the loading equipment is functional.

Man Cave

This little project has been over 2 years in the making.

Tweaking. Adjusting. Getting everything just where I wanted it.

And now...ahhhhhhh!!!!!!

I have limited space as do most so it compacts into it's own little corner of the garage and we can still get one car in when "The Cave" is not in use. Spread out, it is workshop/reloading nirvana.

Behold.

There were too many pictures to post here so I put up a photo stream where you can see the whole series of pictures. That's okay, right?

I like your bench on wheels. I'm cramped on space too. Which brand is it and where can I buy one?

Brand is Wheelen.

Came from Costco.

Quality is amazing. I thing I got it on sale for under $400. I looked at building a benching but I couldn't come close to building one like I wanted for under $400 and especially with all the features this one has.

They come and go at Costco. Sometimes they have me sometimes they don't.

My current setup has no wheels and the reloading tables sit on furniture moving pads. I can easily push the tables when needed. Thanks for the info. I'll look for it online.

Spent the last couple weekends building a new reloading bench, I had been using an old 4' kitchen island which was starting to wobble bad from the stress of working the press. We have a spare bedroom that is my computer/gun/reloading room. Here are some pics.

The framework and shelves done. I did add carriage bolts to corners after these pics were taken.

The top mounted that is 3/4" pine plywood and 3/4" oak plywood for 1 1/2" thickness with 1x6 oak trim on face and right side. Also a metal drawer cabinet mounted.

Stained, painted, and installed. Started setting it up, still have a few things to figure out where I want them mounted and adds some oak trim around the window. Eventually I'am going to build a nice oak shelf unit to replace the cheap bookcase I'm using now on the bench. Bench is attached to the wall studs and is rock solid. very happy with how it turned out.

Monte

NICE setup Monte! One thing I like in my room is the laminate floor. One hundred spilled primers can roll a good distance, but picking them up is pretty easy. DON'T ask me how I know.

Thanks Fly..... Yeah Thought about changing the floor covering to a laminate, just not in the budget right now. But down the road I will just for the reason you stated, I've already had to hunt down a few primers. :)

loading bench

no pics, but I have limited room. one bench and 4 presses. Each press is mounted on a piece of 2 x 10, the press in use is then clamped to the bench/table. Started this waayyyy before all the new changeable mount systems. Loading area is so small that I just need to swivel chair 180 to use computer to check data/loads etc from internet. Powder Mfg's posting loads on their websites is Grreeat (thank you Tony the Tiger). presses are Dillon rl550, Rcbs Rock chucker and 2 mec shotgun loaders. One the MEC presses is a MEC 500 progressive circa 1960, still works makes good shotshells:) will work on fotos soon

Very nice reloading bench. Thanks for sharing!

Looks great...very nice job! However, I would get rid of the carpet because your only option after a powder spill will be to vacuum it up which is not recommended.

Thanks mnoirot64 and fretless33.....Yeah the carpet will be going soon to be replaced with laminate flooring as soon as the budget allows.

Portable is my game...

This bench was made from a quarter sheet (3' x 4') of 3/4" Sande (Birch) plywood, wood glue, and 1.5" flat head cabinet screws.

Dimensions:

Top: 18" x 12" (2 pieces)
Sides: 10.5" x 11" (2 pieces)
Back: 10.5" x 16.5" (cut slightly oversize then sanded down and then gently tapped in with a hammer to fit into the sides, bottom and first of two top pieces)
Base: 18" x 12"

Chest pulls and four rubber "skid" feet were then attached. I don't clamp this bench but it's certainly possible.

I've been using this particular bench for about 2 years (handgun loads only so far). As you can see it fits the RCBS RCIV press but will also fit the Lee Classic Cast or Breech Lock Classic Cast presses and likely any of the other brands of SS presses.

All though I have shot gun press. I hardly ever use it. But notice I modified a deluxe control panel to monitor primer level, power level, shot level, and shell count.

Some time you just need a single stage press and a hand trimmer.
