mec - I started to transfer this thread to the software test forum, but there's really no need to. That revolver is so beautiful, I want it to stay here! :D

I did reword the thread title.

Stunning piece of work. Very, very nice. Can I get just an inkling of what the engaving work ran you?

BTW, I could never make gun like that into a shooter. Shoot it once in awhile maybe, but not on a regular basis.

the cost was prohibitive.

in 200 years, I might get my money back out of it. But I WANTED IT. The probable good news is I had it done through the Smith Custom Engraving Shop and the work may very well be available at a more reasonable rate than I paid. ( see the link in an earlier post for information on the engravers who worked on it- Mr. D'Angelo's e-address seems to be defunct)

I've found that it can be carried without damage by using a low-dollar Uncle mikes iwb. I shoot it carefully with sub 30,000 psi loads

No SK, Please never cuts any ice with cartman either.:)

Can't believe you haven't jeweled the trigger and hammer....

You haven't made this thing so pretty that you stopped shooting it, did you?

I thought there were forum guidelines against posting pornography....

That is one fine-looking wheelgun, indeed. Something like that gets passed down generations, not sold except in cases of impending doom (like Junior needing a kidney transplant...but only if it's your favorite kid.) :D

That is a fine example of why revolvers will probably be the last guns the antis will attack. They can just be so purty... :D
