Picked up an orphan Bersa last night.

Peggy, Been there done that, this one is defying all logical attempts to make it shoot...no big deal i threw it in the back of the safe and ordered a Browning 1911-22 to go with the eight or ten other .22 pistols in the pile.
 
New BERSA pistols

I just bought a new satin nickel BERSA .380 & satin nickel BERSA .22lr. I like them both. I also had a failure to extract with the .22lr pistol. I changed the American Eagle high velocity ammo for CCI Mini Mag and it functioned flawlessly. This pistol requires hot ammo to function. If you are having problems with it, try a hotter ammo and it will work great. The .380 works great with Remington ball, and some Speer 95 gr hollow point I tried. I will carry the Speer HP. I have a number of S&W .45 pistols, and carry a CS45. So far the BERSA pistols have done fine. Hope you enjoy your new .45.
