Percussion caps comming off

Someone made/makes percussion caps with rubber liner on the inside designed to grip the nipple and maybe even seal out some moisture.
I may have some but kinda got away from muzzle loadin in 76 when the stole all my firearms.
I tried to seat one of them on loaded .58 cal buffalo hunter and shot anice big hole up into the fafter above the car port.
 
The Remington #10 is the recommended cap size for the current production Pietta revolvers. Whomever told you #11s was obviously mistaken.
 
Yup, it was the young sales guy at the place where I bought the gun that told me that I needed #11s. They try real hard, but there is no replacement for hands on experience, and that takes time.

I'm 72 and still learning. :)
