Parts question for Glock 26 gen 3

They are double the price!!! It's all $9.99 in GlockStore

I used to live in San Diego and the things I miss the most are In & Out Burger, authentic Mexican food & seafood, warmer winters, and the GlockStore on Ruffner Street. I miss the Double Doubles at In & Out Burger the most, but GlockStore is a close 2nd, even though I’m not the biggest Glock fan, GlockStore is the best gun store I’ve ever been to!

And it appears you dont trust Glock either. ;)
Seeing is believing, never shoot and own a Glock. At the time, everyone told me how reliable were Colt 1911 and S&W659, Welther PPKS is James Bond gun. They are jammed on me. All needed some serious fixing. So seeing is believing.

Look at the thread on S&W459, people said it's very reliable also, not for me(659) until I fixed it. See, I don't give excuse to the gun that needs to break in, that it needs particular brand ammo. If it jam, it jam, simple. Those are just excuses for lacking of margin.

At least I want to make sure parts are genuine Glock parts.

You need to stop worrying on the parts and start worrying on finding ammo.

Im betting you won't likely shoot the gun enough to barely get it broke in, let alone, break something. Most dont. ;)

If you insist on changing things out unnecessarily, before theres ever a problem, you will likely bring your prophecy to fruition.

AMMO! :)

Then comes buying ammo!!!

You guys are hoarding everything up, no parts, no ammo, no primers, not even reloading press and all!!!

Looks like I am going to have a "plastic" toy gun!!! One that won't even snap without racking the slide!!!!

I am thinking about another "plastic" toy gun!!! Too bad Glock 43 is not legal in PRK. Have to look at S&W M&P9 Shield. hate to look at Ruger LC, it's only 380.

Oh yeh I did, they saved them for me in case I change my mind. They are nice. I put my name on the waiting list in some other places already.

Hey, at least I got the gun!!! That's the most important thing. Now, I just need to convince my big boss that I need another plastic toy gun.:D

Good thinking. Honestly it’s just going to be tough for a while when it comes to availability of ammunition.

I’ve had trouble finding some Glock parts myself lately. I like Big Tex Outdoors, Glockmeister, and Midwest Gun Works for online retailers. I’ve also bought parts on eBay when that was the only option or the cheapest option. In those cases look for sellers with many reviews and sellers that primarily sell firearms related accessories (look at the seller’s other items for sale). I’ve generally had good luck.

Glock 43 is legal in CA, but not on the roster. There is a big difference. You can purchase on the face to face market, and some are in new condition, but be prepared to pay over a grand for one.

You can also find used reloading presses on the second hand market.
I check, I did not see 43 on the list of legal guns. I am thinking more about the S&W. Or I can go big like a Sig 2022. that's legal. I have to really like the 26 before I would consider a 19. the 26 is pretty perfect, 10+1, 19.4oz.

I talked to people in reloading, it's discouraging that I cannot do any of the reloading in the house because of lead contamination, also it would be distracting watching tv to do it. I don't want to be in the garage hours at a time. It's hot and it's boring.

You are mistaking legal, "within the law" for approved. The roster is for approved handguns that you can purchase new from a dealer, not what is legal to own in California.

Please learn the laws if you want to be a responsible gun owner here in CA.

You can load in the house with plated bullets just fine, and turn the TV off!

You mean I can order from out of state and ship to a dealer locally to get it?

NO

You can purchase "used" as in second hand from an local person or LEO that purchased it legally. You can purchase through a person to person (in body and flesh at the same place) transfer.

Second hand ones can be new as well, as in never fired.

Now you can purchase an ON ROSTER MODEL from out of state and have it shipped to your dealer for transfer, but the dealer is going to add on his commission to to that for you.
The model must be the exact model number on the roster, i.e. California approved.

Many out of state dealers will not ship to California.

You spent money on a plastic gun? Sell it! I had a Luger, green, in translucent plastic, but the plug kept dripping. And it squirt water 5° left. Glocks are made from an excellent Polymer.
One question: are you a certified Glock Armorer?
Didnt think so. You really are sounding like a Glock hater, frustrated by the fact that it is an excellent gun without a need for your dubious "services".

Lighten up, I was just kidding. did you read my post, I just bought a Glock 26. I am a strong advocate for polymer guns. If you read my posts, I kept saying they are tougher than aluminum.

Read the complete thread to get the context. There's no ammo, no parts, so I can only tread it as "toy" at the moment. If I hate Glock, why would I just bought one?

that's ok, I'll find something new in Kalifornia. S&W M&P9 Shield is not a bad choice, it's slightly heavier but it's ok. Polymer gun too.............Apparently I cannot joke about plastic here!!! :)

What other small polymer guns are legal to sell in Kalifornia. The other one is Ruger LC380, but it's 380 only. I am pretty set on buying polymer ones.....ha ha, plastic ones!!!.......Kidding!!!

I read the entire thread before your last post. You will never touch one of my Glocks. I have a G26. The Pierce grip extension that slides onto the magazines, gives me a place for my little finger. You can use G17 and G19 mags, with a sleeve that acts like more grip. I replaced a plastic front sight (fell off during requalification) on my G23 with night sights. I borrowed a range gun and successfully finished my qualification (100% attributable to "no one monkeyed with it").

I only buy guns in California, from out-of state gun-dealers, who ship to a local FFL:

Better prices, excellent selection, and they wont ship if it isnt legal. I cant get a 22WMR rifle with a threaded barrel.
