Pardner Single shot

Ill bgetting an aftermarket stock so sending in the orginal will not bother me if it gets dammaged. And I plan on putting a "Plum" finish on it to match my H&R 949 revolver so the finish doesnt matter to me eather.

Mine's a model 1905 and I still can't get the firing pin out but will someday. Its just a wall hanger but a reminder of past generations.

I wanted a low cost shotgun for squirrel hunting. Previously I had used a Sears brand 20 guage single shot. Passed that one on to my son, and so had to find something for myself if I wanted to hunt with him. Anyway, I bought a new H&R 20 guage Pardner a couple of weeks ago , and I think it's a nice shotgun. Prices seem to have gone up a bit on them from what Ive been reading. It cost $149, but still seems like a decent gun for the money. The shop had a used 12 guage Pardner that looked to be in good shape for only $100, but I wanted a new 20. Hoping to spend tomorrow morning in the woods shooting some squirrels with it.

I have the 20 gauge Partner and a single shot 20 gauge Mag Tec. I like them both and the Mag Tec has a nicer wood finish but I think I'm going to sell the Mag Tec and keep the H&R. I just don't need two and I can get more for the Mag Tec.
