Painting Sights?

I have tried paint, fingernail polish and the Hi-viz sights. While the painted and polished ones did improve things, but the hi-viz sight was far away the better option for me. In lower light is truly glowed instead of just being more visable. Am going to get another one mfor my Ruger 22/45.

I've had good luck with metallic Sharpies. Very easy to apply and easy to remove if it doesn't work for you.

Try something, I've use red polish to work for me, because my manicurist gave me a bottle for free.

Actually it's the manicurist I pay to do my girls nails.:D

I use floresent orange on my gongs and they really stand out.

One of the best shooters (or the one that I can shoot the best) is my Model 64 I use in ICORE.

The 64, being stainless makes it really hard for me to concentrate on the front sight. I took some of the floresent orange paint and put it on the front sight. That sucker jumps right out almost forcing you to concentrate on the front sight.

Took a dab and put it on the white dot on the front sight of my Beretta 92 and again, it stands out.

Its cheap, stays on pretty good, (only do a touch up at the first of the shooting season) and easy to do.

I agree with 4V50 Gary. I used it recently on the front sight of my P95 because it was all I had. It worked out so well that I will use it again if necessary. It stays stuck on.
