packing while at home

His mentality "Your so paranoid, nothing is going to happen"

You should have a "take your roomate to work day". That might open his eyes up a bit.

I know how you feel. When my wife's cousin lived with us for a few months she never locked the door when she went to work. I'm a really nice guy so when I gave her a stern talking to she seemed to listen.

I always carry at home.

Ask your IT rommie if computers have firewalls and why. When he says just in case point to the gun on your hip!

The only time I'm not carrying, is when I'm in the shower.

You sound like me. I will add that I don't have it on me while in bed but it is in my nightstand drawer about six inches from my bed.

I always have my S & W .38 snub in my pocket at home. I also have multiple guns (a 9 mm and a couple of .45's) strategically placed around the house so that I am never far from one of them.

Early in my marraige my wife once asked me why I carried the gun in the house. I replied that if I ever needed it, I would not be allowed to call "time out" while I got one.

I wear one at home, the hood is getting closer to me ever day.I even give my wife an armed escort to the car when she goes to work.I don't want to have to run for a gun.

I always care a gun on me at home or otherwise, At home though i usually only carry my bersa 380 or my Ruger Sp101. If for some reason i am just in my boxers or something its in reaching distance or in my hand. I may be a little paranoid?

Never carry in the house. I carry everytime I exit the house and can't wait to get rid of it when I walk in the door. Carried everyday (except while abroad on vacation) since I was 21 years , now I'm 48. CCW is a pain in the ass , but a necessary pain these days. My home has other defenses that will allow time to reach a weapon.

If I carried while watching TV , I would have already plugged Geraldo Rivera !

One man's paranoia is another man's heightened sense of awareness. There is always something in my pocket as well as strategically placed 12 gauges behind furniture. The 1911 sits on the nightstand or on the hamper if I'm in the shower. I live in a rural area, it's beautiful but it would take awhile for LEOs to arrive. I plan on being around to greet them

I don't always carry around the house, but there is always one handy.

On weekends, I'll typically put it on first thing in the morning, run my errands and once I return home, I leave it on till it's lights out.

I haven't been carrying as much these days, so I don't tend to carry at home. I finally started working out again, and usually head to the gym after work. My gym doesn't have a very secure locker room, and I don't much like leaving a gun in my car (for whatever reason I am not sure about) so I have cut back on carrying in general. I know I should carry it more, but have started a bit of a lull, it seems.

When I do carry, I strap it on in the morning and leave it on all day, or until I change clothes should the need arise.

I always carry. I'm carrying now; one on my hip, one in my back pocket. Since it doesn't bother me a whit, why not carry? Besides, it gets the neighbors used to the idea when you open-carry. I don't live in a high crime area, but just a mile south of one.

I take my P32 to the gym with me. I lock it in my truck in one of those lock boxes with the cable attached. It's legal, and if stolen anyway, it didn't cost too much.

My LEO duty weapon comes off after work. The BUG I carried that day remains in my pocket until lights off. My duty weapon goes on top of my
night stand until morning Heres photos of my backup gun array. All are carried
in either my weakside front pocket or weakside back pocket depending on my BUG weapon choice that day.

Never felt the need to carry at home. Can't be bothered, and, quite frankly, if I started feeling so unsafe in my own house that I needed to be armed all the time, I'd definitely starting packing...and get the heck out of there.

I carry around the house. I have on 2 occasions been working in the barn or out back and come to the house to find some there. both times they went out the front door when I came in the back. I now carry around my house
