I will say that while SIG is not very forthcoming on the specifics of their barrel, IIRC, it is CHF. We had CHF barrels on a few of weapons in the Army with 40,000 rounds plus thru them and still going strong. I can post pics when I get home but my barrel still looks very good with little wear that is noticeable.
