P-64 or "I am getting tired of plastic guns"

SWEET!!!

Plastic just doesn't lend itself to fondling like blued steel, walnut and real leather.
I've got an old WWII P-38 that has been begging for a set of walnut grips....
Think I'm going to see what I can find.
Thanks for posting Trooper Joe you have inspired me to go get those walnut grips!

Yours looks great!

Gary
Update:
Found some lined walnut P-38 grips on Altamont site, used wife's pay-pal account and ordered them.. TA-DAH! this computer stuff makes buying things way too easy, but I got walnut grips now!

Just got back from the first range trip. Everything was perfect.

Handles Hornady Critical Defense without a hiccup. Seems like the Hornady ammo was the most accurate. However, this was hard to tell since I was getting just one ragged hole with everything at 7 yards.

Love this gun and it is now going to ride in my truck consul giving my Ruger LC9s a rest for a while.

Thanks for the input guys and gals.

Trooper Joe
