Own Any Guns You Have Never Shot??

I have owned several firearms that I never shot. Bought them because it was a good idea at the time and not for investments.

i have a brand new limited edition 500mag.. the bone collector.. never been shot.. and i have a 44mag that i have never shot since Ive owned it.

I have a Garand that I bought 2 or 3 years ago and haven't shot it yet. :o I intend to, but just haven't yet. I think all the others have been to the range.

I have shot all but a couple of firearms I purchased new. I have not shot most of the firearms I have inherited, some of which are collectible and some of which simply provide memories of my father, grandfathers and uncles.

Kinda.

I bought a Mosin-Nagant 91/30, cleaned it up nice, and bought a lot of ammo for it only to accidentally left it at a friends house on the other side of the state for about 1 year...

I have two pump shotguns I have yet personally popped a cap. I bought both used, but one (a Remington 870 Express magum) still had the hang tag on it. The other is a Weatherby Patrician II with an extra barrel which has seen consideralbe use but not by me. They were both just too good a buy to pass up. I am remiss; although it is hard to miss with a 12 gauge. :)

My new converted Saiga 12 that came in this past weekend.

The 'unshot' status will change this weekend, however.

Maverick 88 twelve gauge pump that I bought used in 2012. Need to do some familiarization using snap caps because it's been a long time since I operated a shotgun.

Nope I shot them all, of course none are collectables.
As a side note, having a gun you don't shoot is like having a Internet girlfriend, not going to get a lot out of the relationship.:D

I have shot every gun that I own at least once, but some, just that once. Most are collectible pieces, but as you know, being able to fire makes them have a better value, and as a collector, I would want to shoot them myself so that I can verify they do, not accepting that from someone else.

A Saturday night special in .25 auto that an elderly person wanted out of their house. I locked it away, someday a cash for guns may come around my area lol.

3 In fact

1902 Colt new Service in 38-40
1940's Winchester Model 12
1950's - 1960's 7mm Ackley Mag rifle hand build by my great grandfather

All 3 I have never shot.

A Ruger Mini 14 I purchased after the Batman Movie Crime in July. I always wanted one to keep my AR company. I bought it just in case. Just in case showed up.

Yup, an M-1 Garand, a pair of 12GA bolt action goose guns, my father's old Remington .243 deer rifle, and a new Henry .22 lever gun I just haven't gotten out to shoot yet..

Yes I have 2 that I have never shot yet, a CZ 452 and a Remington 1858 from Uberti. I will get around to shooting them one day . I sold a Springfield TRP that I had for 2 years without shooting it. I didn't like how it felt in my hand, so I decided to sell it unfired and got what I paid for it $1300.

i have several at the moment that i've never shot for various reasons. i work crazy hours so i can only shoot when all the fires get put out at the homefront. the wifey is getting better but for years she didn't realize that i just needed to get outside and that it wasn't anything about her per say. so alot of things have to come into play for me to shoot whether its the weather isn't optimal or that i would rather spend the time with my lil boys or i've got honey-do's to do or even just house work. it seems to always be something will come up. so, if i've been a while w/o smelling any burnt gun powder i will schedule my dat as titie as possible to squeeze an hour in to shoot. oh well sorry for the rant fellas but i'm sure you married guys will understand.

For me, I haven't shot some of my rifles that are mostly projects or builds. I have a Mosin 91/30 rifle that is being sporterized (new stock, aftermarket scope, etc) that I have not shot. I also have an almost-complete AR15 that has not been shot because its missing a couple of parts.

My neighbor has a S&W 500 that he has never fired. He is more of a collector than a shooting enthusiast so I'm not surprised.
I have one two year old rifle I have not fired yet. It is a new Henry Lever Action 22 that I bought for my Grandson before he was born. It will remain unfired until he is old enough to go out with me and shoot it. He's about 17 months old now so I supose I will have to wait awhile yet. :D
