Darth, MOD was great. Ode to Harry and Bubble butt were two of the funniest songs ever written. I'm sure that you know that SOD, MOD, and Anthrax were all the same band. I lost inerest in them after the original singer (Joey?) left. Among the Living is one of the best albums ever produced. Once heard of a band called Toxic Shock Syndrome, thought that was pretty funny.

Actually, that sounds a lot like one of my favorite groups, "Southern Culture On The Skids"

Another like 'em that made it big was Reverand Horton Heat, which was from around here.

I used to enjoy Baby Pinata, if only for the weirdness of their lyrics.

A fun band from my home town is Cornhole, but they can be a bit rougher than is best for polite company.

Trout Fishing In America is one of my favorite folk bands, and has something of a cult following.

WAIT A DADGUMMED MINUTE!!!

I've been tricked! Jedi, this has NOTHING to do with guns. We better get some gun-groups in here, quick!

I posted way back at the beginning of this when it was a serious discussion. I'm seriously ashamed by what I have read here.

For the love of humanity, won't someone lock this thread down? I would stick around to see what happens, but I'm going to Nashville.

How did you all miss the Squirrel Nut Zippers? No judgement offered on the music (kind of a big band sound), but the name says it all.

I knew a couple of guys in "Norman Bates and the Showerheads" in Queens, NY in the late 80's. hardcore Punk. I can't beleive they are still a band, and made some kind of list, if it's them !!
