Opinions on the NRA "virtual" shooting center?

Anything that puts Chuck Schumer into paroxysms of apoplexy has got to be a pretty good idea. Just the simple act of announcing the idea put him on the edge of a stroke. Hearing that piece of news is the only time something with his name attached to it brightened my day. :)

I think it' a great idea! It allows big city folks (and tourists from other countries), who equate guns with crime, the opportunity to see, and maybe better appreciate, the entire spectrum of the shooting sports.

Schumer and McCarthy expressed concerns on TV news that the NRA's new store and virtual shooting center will promote gun violence. This NRA venture will help to dispel the demonization of guns and the gun culture by narrow minded, fear mongering anti-gunners.

... sounds like a good enough reason for me!!! :)

It's a great idea! People in urban environments tend to only think of guns in terms of protection, policing, and crime. Exposing them to the shooting sports, even if it is virtual, has the potential to change their minds.
