Jody,
Maybe your Hooters friend would like to pair up with my Gold Desert Eagle in .50 caliber.
Someone asked me why would I ever buy a 24k gold Desert Eagle.
And my reply, "Because I can!"
This piece of work is such a fun gun to shoot at the range. When another cartridge loads, it reminds me of the hollow sound you hear where inserting a mortar shell.
I've grown up loving big guns, and since the .44 Automag I wanted since I was 8 years old when I seen Sudden Impact was twice the cost of the DE, I decided to buy the lower cost magnum autoloader. And if I was going to spend that much on a handgun, I might as well spend the extra for gold.
And no this gun doesn't compensate for my "small you-know-what" syndrome, my 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with leather interior and 500 cubic inch engine that gets nearly 10 miles per gallon does.
