7mm rem mag

I love my 7mm rem mag as others have said It's accurate, flat shooting, and hard hitting...I agree it will put a smile on your face :D

I have several different rifle cartridges,I always go to the 7mm rem mag. it has always worked well for me these past 20+ years with the cartridge.

Why should anyone care about how much a rifle recoils when you get a rifle with a good recoil pad or if you add one?

My Savage 30-06 kicks like a mule - it doesn't have a recoil pad. I'd like to add one, but then I have to get into cutting down the stock. I'd like to find a nice Walnut stock, unfinished, size it for me, add a recoil pad and then finish it.

Skans: I did that to my Savage 110, back around 1960. Back then, Bishop semi-inletted blanks were popular and I probably paid $25 for one. Having no power tools except a 1/4" drill, I rasped and sanded my way toward making the stock just like a Weatherby. Glassbedding and free-floating and 15 coats of thinned varnish and it was a beauty! It was comfortable to shoot, even with a plastic butt pad, mostly due to stock shape.

"45/.70 you dont need any magnums the 45/70 has alot of power and can kill any animal in North America, and a marlin wont break the bank the down side to it it cant shoot more then 225 yards or so and you can keep the extra $$ for reloading." Quote

Hahaha. Whatever
