Opinions? IWI Israeli made .9mm.

My opinion based on personal experience:
An excellent gun, well build, accurate, almost perfect ergonomics (the all metal Jericho is better in this aspect), 100% reliable.
Magnum Research customer service is very good. Spare parts are currently available from Magnum Research. IWI-US, the current importer, has no spare parts.
Specific accessories are hard to find and/or expensive. I found that some SIG 226 and Glock holsters may fit quite well. Magazine are available and not too costy. Any standard magazine holder should do.

I had one in .40cal. Didn't like the slide mounted safety and sold it. Holsters aren't the easiest to find either.

Baby Eagle is arguably an allusion to "Desert Eagle," a completely different handgun with a "super-gun" reputation that many vaguely know about. Jericho is a much less familiar name here in the U.S.

I considered buying one several times. I passed on it for several reasons. Capacity wasn't as much as I would have wanted; the gun seemed too heavy for what it was and it seemed muzzle heavy.

Am I the only one who wonders where in Alaska he is going to find decimal9mm cartridges?

Then again, maybe you can order them through the interweb. :D

I'm going to point out that IDF's LOVE suppressors,
so I'd call 'em and see if a threaded barrel is available from the factory.

I like everything about these pistols except for the fact that the inverted slide rails cause a serious lack of real-estate on the slide. Just can't get over it. If I could I would own one and a CZ-75

Most of the Baby Eagles I've seen or shot used CZ mags -- so you could certainly find higher capacity mags.

Muzzle heavy? Maybe, but similar to the steel-framed CZs.

If I were to get one, it would be one with the frame-mounted safety (which might mean looking for an older one.)

I have never cared for the slide design -- I prefer the more conventional design of other CZ-pattern guns.
