They'll have this occur again:
For the sake of National Safety, there are certain sacrifices that have to be made. WJC said the same thing last year, to the effect that the older generation (us???) had to make sacrifices. I suspect this is also what he had in mind for the general public.

When they come to grab your rifles and pistols, be civil and polite...give them your shotguns too...both barrels. You'll be a credit to your founding fathers; give me liberty or give me death. I sure wouldn't want to live under political totalitarianism.

Living in a house with very, very robust doors (steel core on steel
frame), large dogs and the fact that it is a three-story affair would
not make the JBT's job easier. In fact, it could end in a
less-than-nice sniping session. Furthermore, try to open a
modern-grade air-raid bunker (which is prescribed in Switzerland for
almost all buildings).

Mussi! Not fair! You're in Switzerland! I'm in USSA. I Don't have constant local infantry support. I have slack-jaw voluntarily unarmed tube-watchers who believe the nightly news.

I agree with you that my steel doors, large dogs (300 lbs. of Rottweiler), and 3rd floor bedroom may slow them down a tad, but without support of my neighbors, the result will be the same - I will be arrested or dead.
I have a question for LEOs. If you "no knock" my home, you will be attacked by huge, snarling, barking dogs, determined to defend their territory. I assume that you would shoot said dogs immediately. I awake in my third floor bedroom to gun fire, grab my AK and return fire in defense of my family. I do not know that you are LEOs, you fired the first shots, you have murdered members of my family (my dogs), and I am in fear for my and my family's lives. Why would that not be justified self defense? Just something to think about.

Just so you know, If I no-knock your door, you are probably a child-killing drug pusher who is getting what he deserves. It seems that a lot of people on this board CANNOT accept that, given our society, use of tactical teams in some situations is necessary. Worse yet, many seem to believe that, by just buying a weapon and reading a WHOLE LOT of gun mags, they magically become some super ninja-squirrel. Real life has never (in my experience) resembled those kewel how-to gun mags. Sorry, personal rant.....
By the way, remember that most of those "ninja" LEOs are fanatical gun-owners who believe in the RKBA, and are usually your best friends. Insulting your local LEOs is not the way to a smooth and comfortable relationship......

Gusgus, I almost forgot.....PLEASE TRY TO REMEMBER TO IDENTIFY YOUR TARGETS.....believe me, telling a jury "I heard gunshots so I got up an' started shootin'" ain't gonna work. It might have been some rapist-crackhead psycho that shot the dog, and the Po-lice was chasin' him. And, we usually scream Po-lice or something as we come through the door.
