"So what you are saying is that you have been given "permission" to buy firearms on record. How nice."
Well here we were having a nice little conversation. Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or is this a life-long attitude problem? Have I offended you in some way? Do I even know you? Feel free to put me on your ignore list if you don't like me. And it's not a one gun a month law; it's one HANDGUN a month.
Life is full of rules. We can work to change them (
www.vcdl.org ) or get an ulcer ranting. In any event, I've been collecting, well accumulating, guns for going on 50 years and don't have a real desire to buy more than one every so often. Of course, I've never had much of a desire to buy inexpensive or beat-up guns and I'm too cheap, and picky, to buy expensive guns very often.
But hey, my father gave me his newest shotgun for my birthday.
Dern, now the cat's out of the bag and the bogeymen know I have it. Oh no, what will I do, what will I do? <shrug> I'll get over it.

I'd been cleaning it and 'storing' it for him between uses anyway, but it's the thought that counts. He tried to give me his favorite Python when I gave him a Cooper Custom Classic some time back, but I wouldn't take it. Now he's gotten even. My turn to think up something - he'll be 84 in January.
