Only one Glock

I have owned a grand total of 5 glocks.

G23 .40
G27 .40
G30 .45
G21 .45
G21 .45

I now own only 2 of these 5, and they are the two G21s. Need I say more?

No, you need not. I take it you really like the .45 sundance. Am I correct in saying this? Why didn't you like the 30?

g20 or 23

Full-size Glock 10mm was by far the most accurate Glock I've ever shot, and if Glock announced it was going out of business that's the one I'd rush out to buy. Glock 20. I'd also pick up one of the extended bbls.

That said, I think the Glock 23 is the best Glock overall, for anyone considering carry. Size is right, you can get aftermarket bbls to shoot lead or 9mm, and high-cap mags are plentiful.

G19 is just as sweet, just less versatile since you have only one caliber option.

Trimation, I have never found an abbreviated grip semiauto that I like...I love full-size autos but when I look for a compact gun, I really like a S&W J-frame better than any sub-compact auto I have ever tried. I do have a Kahr K-9 Elite 98 9mm that I am fond of, but I don't think I would like the smaller MK9. Just personal preference, I guess.

G23 is my pick for the "quintessencial Glock."

Now if only they could engineer some good looks into them.

One Glock - G-20 or G-29

For the reasons that Carbon_15 & Tamara mentioned. Choose which ever one fits your hand better.

The Glock 10mms are easily the most versatile autoloaders made. If you can access some preban hi-caps, that's even better.

From Federal Arms you can order drop-in barrels for either the G-20/29 in .40 S&W AND .357 Sig. That means you've got 3 guns in 1. You'll still use the 10mm mags & recoil assembly. Only a barrel swap is needed. Transitioning to the light-steppin' .40 SwishyWalker loads is a breeze. Now you don't need a G-23. Feel like offing some feral armadillos? Just pop in that .357 Sig tube and pretend you're ol' billybob out in West Texas.

If the G-20's too big and concealability is an issue, well, the G-29 conceals better than the 23.

The Glock 20/29 - 3 guns in 1.

I only have two Glocks, the 30 and the 36 and if I had could only have one I'd keep the 30. 10+1 of my favorite semi-auto round does wonders for my peace of mind. The G29 does sound interesting though.

I picked up my Glock after doing significant research, including firing both the G17 and G19.

The Glock will be my survival handgun. One of the things that I considered was the availability of ammunition. The 9mm is the most widely used ammo worldwide and it is NATO standard.

Another thing that was considered is spare parts availability. I believe that there are more G17's in the field than any other Glock. This means that in a TEOTWAWKI scenario, it will be easier to get spare parts and magazines if your local gun shop does not happen to be open!

Which Glock did I buy?.......G17

The Glock 19 because of it's size, ammo capacity and ease of concealment. There are some dang good 9mm self defense loads out these days. I don't feel a bit undergunned with 16 rounds of Speer 124gr Gold Dot +p JHPs or Winchester RANGER 115gr +p+ JHPs.

I own 4 Glocks, 17, 19 ,21, 22 and if I had to choose one it would be the 19 due to its perfect size and high capacity. Now it I owned a Glock 30 that would be my choice, since I am lusting after one right now.l
