Only One Choice 22 Lr

Hmmm... Tough one. Probably my Ruger Single Six. Despite the fact I don't often shoot it anymore, it was my first gun and probably still my favourite.

I'll go with a convertible Double Nine. Nine rounds of .22LR or .22WMR in a double action revolver is a hard thing to beat. The only improvement I could imagine would be a slightly longer barrel, like maybe 7-7 1/2 inches.

Here's my baby:

Colt Woodsman Match Target, but my Ruger MK II is a close second and I have three of them so that should say something.

I'm glad not to be constrained by this thread. I have a Buckmark Camper, a Browning Challenger III and two Rugers MkII, one in stainless and one blued. All have 5.5 inch bull barrels except the Challenger which is slab sided. Nothing for sale.

The Ruger Bearcat that I bought my 11 year old. Vary impressed with it. Solid and will last a lifetime. Small enough to slide down your front pants pocket.

I'll go with this one, a Trophy that I bought brand new in 1976. A tack driver (obviously ;) ), and I am careful to keep it in "as new" condition.

High Standard Trophy, bought new from "Bluebonnet Gun Shop" in Pasadena, TX, 1976.

I think I'll keep my Browning Buckmark Camper in nickel. Fits my hand good. Has paid for it's self many times in game and hides.
