Petition signed and sent !!! Thanks

I added my message to the effect that "My heart goes out to Rep. Carolyn McCarthy concerning the loss of her husband but HB1022 is not the way to grieve, go after the perps, now lawful gun owners" .

This is one of the most important things we can do, is sign that petition.

Here is what I have been posting on all of my favorite message boards:

If you are not aware, there has been another AWB bill introduced that will adversely affect all of us if allowed to pass and become law.

That petition, if our goals are reached, has the potential to bring HR 1022 to a halt.

Please, read about HR 1022 if you will, and then sign the petition I linked above. This is so very important in terms of our 2nd Ammendment Rights.

It would be good to get a spurt sometime this week, and see that number hit the one hundred thousand range. Gotta get the word out to all gun owners willing to help us by signing this thing.

Yep, looks like this is one battle we are going to lose. Not enough willing to get involved and make a difference .... until it is too late.

That is why the libs win on things like this - because they are relentless about taking away our Constitutional Rights.

It's a McCarthy bill. It stands no chance, anyway.

IMHO, instead of this, there should be more focus on a counterattack - repealing or reforming existing laws, like 922(o).

I am proud to be the 23,811th petitioner on this. Looks like it is growing in leaps and bounds. I will tell everyone I meet at the range about this.

A little over 25K makes this one a slow roller on March 12.

"It's a McCarthy bill. It stands no chance, anyway."

I hope you are right about that - why do you feel that strongly that a bill of his stands no chance?

I have heard views from one end of the spectrum to the other. It will pass; it won't pass. The petition matters; the petition doesn't matter.

To me, what matters is our rights, and how determined we are to preserve them. So it's not really as much what this petition will or won't achieve, it is more about what you will decide to do. As for me, I signed at just over 1000, and encourage everyone else that cares about our 2nd ammendment rights to sign as well.

On the outside chance that this petition is seen and matters, I want to be counted among those who signed.
