One Handgun

My choice would be the S&W 29 44 Mag. 5' barrel.

This handgun could be used home protection loading 44 Special ammo, Hunting whitetail (etc) there is a large selection from HP to solid points ammo and finally for plinking low end reloaded 44 Mag. ammon can be purchased at very good prices if you are not a reloader

I currently do not not own a Model 29 but since I don't have to depend upon one gun I'll stick with my Model 57 and Ruger Bisley 45 Colt and TC Contender 444 Marlin for hunting, Colt 1911, S&W 5904 & 4013 for home protection and for plinking all of the above and others.

Have a good day and remember to VOTE this may be a real question someday.

My 4" 686, which has the square grip frame I prefer. Referring to earlier postings, if allowed two handguns, one would definitely be my 3" 66.

I believe it would be.......one of my GP100's.......or if ammo were not factored (even though I make it) my 5.5" 45 Colt Redhawk.

God, I love that gun............but my 7.5" .357 Redhawk is lotsa' fun, too........nope, can't have just one.

My Caspian 1911 in 45ACP, natch.
