On average how often do you shoot your handguns

Just curious as to, on average, how often you handgunners shoot on a monthly basis

Less than once per month, unfortunately.

I average about once per month, sometimes more frequently, sometimes less - but that is just an average.

If I had the time/money I would probably go 1-2 times a week. Hoping to remedy that by buying a rimfire, and even if I only shoot it, at least I can make it to the range more frequently than my other guns. Eventually when I get my own reloading equipment I will shoot a lot more as well, but I don't have room for it at my current household so I have to go to my dads to reload at the moment.

Wish I could shoot a bit every day....

When I get up to my parents property up north for the weekend I usually unload a brick of .22lr blzr ammo given that there's more freedom to shoot in any fashion "saftey ofcourse!" Lately I havn't been shooting any of my centerfire stuff except maybe my 9mm n mucho .22lr at the gun range.

Once a week at the range keeps me going..

Sadly only about once a month. If we had somewhere we could go without paying range fees I'd probably go at least two or three times a month.

I give my best effort to twice a week; one evening and on Saturday morning. There is a local range that is not the greatest, not the cleanest, not the most modern but they only charge $10.50 plus tax with no time limit. They let you bring your own ammo with little restriction and one can even bring your own targets.

I try to rotate my guns so that no one gun sits too long in my safe. My EDC gun gets shot at almost each outing.

Of course buying ammo by bulk at lower prices makes this a winner and keeps me sharp and my guns active.

I average about twice a week ....but I reload too ...so it keeps the cost down quite a bit ( and I shoot at an indoor range / so the weather isn't a factor ).

I checked 3 times a month. I shoot a Defensive Pistol Match monthly as well asa 2 Gun Match. Most months I will fit in another 1 or 2 range sessions.
Before deer season I may shoot a few quality shots almost every day for a month or so. In the Winter when it is nasty out, I am back to 2 Match dates a month, plus a few range days when it is nice out. I also carry almost daily, so I shoot a few rounds not at the range also.

My 3 times a month answer is probably a little on the lite side year round. I have fired around 2000 rounds in the last 30 days. Probably 600 rounds of it centerfire.

I am in the once a week group and that includes matches I shoot in. I used to do the old "Shoot till you are ankle deep in Brass" but it was easier to go to once a week...... I also do 2-3 Gunfighting Classes every year! How many 2-4 day classes are you doing???

Normally at the local pistol range (5 min. away) or sporting clays on the weekends.

I checked 3 times a week, but that varies based on weather - the 60 MPH winds inhibit shooting right now.

But I have two ranges on my land, so it's easy for me.

I try to get out twice a week, but it probably averages out to more like once a week lately. On a really good week I can practice at the range twice and get in a pin match. But that is rarer than I'd like to admit.
