Okay, so what should be my next handgun

next gun

I like the American-made and revolver ideas above. A good used 4" service-type double-action revolver in .38special would be a good start -- example: Smith and Wesson Model 10. If you like a big boom, there may be some Model 27's around at somewhat higher prices -- they are 357mag (but most shoot targets with them loaded with 38spec or 38spec+P).

1 of 2 guns. Either a .357mag wheel gun or .22 semiauto. I suggest a Ruger GP100 or S&W 686 in the revolver and a Browning Buckmark or Ruger MKI/II/III for the .22.

I see that you prefer Glocks but a nice all metal CZ would be a nice addition. Everyone needs a 1911 as well.

Yeah, everyone needs one of these, or a model 28 might save a few bucks.

STI Spartan
Kahr PM9 or CW9
NAA Pug
Ruger Single Six w/ LR & Magnum cylinders

Those are all a bit different from what you have.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input.

Perhaps a .357 Mag revolver...

I am not sure I like the double action though. It makes for a long trigger pull...

I have a:

Glock 19 9 mm

Glock 34 9 mm

Sig Sauer P220 .45 acp.

Suggestions please?
It's obvious, you've been getting pistols in alphabetical order. A Smith & Wesson or Taurus seems appropriate for your next acquisition. ;)

Out of your list given I would go with the Sig P220. I carried one on duty for 15 Plus years on patrol. I never had a failure of anykind with mine and it was pleasant to shoot. Very accurate too! JMHO.

I definitely agree with the American made and revolver ideas, however, I don't think you can go wrong with another 9mm... say a Stainless Steel Beretta 92. It is a little more expensive than what you were thinking, however, Taurus makes the 17rd PT92, which has typically received equal or better reviews than the Beretta 92, and it is usually priced right under your 500 dollar budget. However, this is obviously going to be dependent upon your individual opinion of Taurus firearms.

A 1911 all the way out of all the ones Ive shot I like the colt and the Springfield but if you want to go with a .22 for days of fun that sig mosquito shoots very nice and looks sexy
