OK! Tell me what I just bought?

Glad it looks like it may be a shooter. That makes it a lot easier to like a new used rifle.

Older Leupold fixed power scopes did not have a lot of adjustment. I am sure you know the best way to maximize your available adjustments: center the reticle, then boresight adjusting windage with the windage screws on the base (be careful when doing this).

You can neck 30-06 shells for this as well not just 25-06 like someone said

It is just easier to neck up .25-06 brass and not have to worry about turning necks, that is why the suggestions. Anyway I can make it out of just about any 06 based cartridges, some easier than others.

Scorch I was taking the scope off this rifle anyway, I'll put it on something else and I'll put a higher powered variable on this rifle. Thingking that 3.5-10 VXIII I picked up my be a good choice now.

The "lightning bolts" in that grip cap is actually pretty cool man, it took some real inspired workmanship, and that trigger shoe is kinda wild... Cool find dude!!:)

The stock just needs some real TLC, and it would give that rifle a pretty cool disposition... me thinks..
