OK lets try this again... My Glock 17!

I like it a lot! Which LW barrel did you get, the Alpha Wolf or the "regular" one for lack of a better term? How far does the barrel stick out from the slide?

I'm thinking of getting a 9x25 barrel and think I might be glad to have a couple of ports on it but I don't want it to stick out too far.

Here is a shot of the side view in battery (unloaded). I was concerned it would stick out too much as well and look a little weird but after shooting it... even if it did look weird i would still use it lol but it came out looking nice.

It came with a lot of practice my friend... plus a little ocd lol

I've done it to every gun i've owned now i just love the look. Always white too.
I use nail polish though. i have never tried crayon. Just feel like it will last a lot longer. The key is to use A LOT of polish and let it really dry, dont be scared of it drying on parts you dont want it to be on, it will come off. also use a knife to take off the extra first, that helps, just dont scratch anything. I usually do a few passes as well to get as much as possible in there. AND if it ever wears i put a new coat on top!

Nice Glock, zackgee. Though I have to comment on your picture in post #22: It looks like you have your finger on the trigger, and that's an extremely unsafe way to handle any gun, especially a Glock.

Theohazard - your right it does look that way, i have taken it down, don't want to promote anything that looks unsafe.

I assure you at the point the gun was brand new, never been fired or even loaded. It was completely safety checked, dry fired, and there was no ammo in the room. My finger was not on the trigger but it was it the trigger guard to get it into that position to take a picture. But again thanks for the outside opinion, obviously none of that can be seen by looking at the picture so i have taken it down, again don't want to promote anything unsafe.
