Obama's Gaza Connection

Just out of curiosity, how would one go about “planting” information on the Federal Election Commission's site? The source of this data is the official records filed by the campaigns with the FEC.

Actually it is quite easy to turn in a fake report. If you look it up all it takes is a simple form. It is actually shown in one of the stories. Some people are even suggesting that the planting was done by Clinton supporters. It will be interesting to see what happens. I am betting the reports will be found to be fraudulent and will disappear and we will never know who did it..
 
Keep wishin', Penguin, but the facts are the facts. Go to the page listing those contributions and click on the link after VIA to look at the source of the data. It did not come from an individual report, it came directly from the Obama for America campaign --> http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/com_detail/C00431445.

In other words, Obama's campaign received the donations, took the money and reported it to the FEC.

You can even look at the image of the actual receipts the Obama campaign filed.

The FEC website rocks!
 
Not likely, the forms are submitted to the FEC either physically or electronically using a secure logon provided by to the campaign. These undoubtedly came from the Obama campaign. How they got there is anyone's guess, but they clearly have not been reviewing these very carefully at all. I wonder what other gems are in the database?
