Now this is downright sexy

It can have a little gizmo installed .....

I know .... but for what one of those costs, it should not have to have optional equipement to make it work ...... hell, for what those cost, it should rack it's own slide and aim for you, too!

It looks like it belongs in a movie with robots and flying saucers.
Open guns don't make a lot of sense.
They work best with powerful, high velocity ammo.
Then they reduce the muzzle flip and recoil a lot.
Seems like going in circles.
Might as well just use weaker ammo in a regular pistol for the same results.
Both methods make holes in cardboard and ring and knock down steel.
Guess I just don't get it.
Kind of like making grass grow better and then having to mow it more often.

An elite match 10mm is all you need...well and some new grips (stock ones suck a little)with the Wonder finish?

Not fond of the Brushed/polished but it were matte/Bead blast..yeah I could do this one...

My radar has been pinging off of one of these so much I just may have to make it number two on my short list!

Nice pics.

I had a Witness Match a few years ago , but sold it because the magazines were problematic. Fast forward a few years, and now that Mec-Gar is making the mags I haven't had any problems. The red follower mags just never worked for me...

I just hand fitted a Witness Match slide in .40 S&W to my Wonder Finish upper, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but it did take me me a lot of time. I was very happy with the final result, there is no side-to-side play, no rattle when I shake the pistol, and slide moves effortlessly on the frame. According to the calipers, I probably removed a few thosandths more from the rear portion of the rails than I should have, but that's probably the perfectionist in me talking. While slide to frame fitting can be labor intensive, the rail in frame design seems pretty forgiving. Hopefully, I'll post up some pics and a test fire tis weekend.

A standard .38 Super conversion from Numrich went together with no fitting, but it was built with much looser tolerances than the Match slide.

If I had to do it over again, though, I'd go straight for a Witness Stock I in .38 Super.

I still like it without the rail or other cuts into the dust cover. 50 shots, 15 yrds offhand in 38 Super.

I like it much better without the rail and other cuts.

Makes me wonder if I should move the Limited up on my to-buy list. I definitely don't want to get stuck with a rail on it.

I think that is about as sexy as Rosie O'Donnell in a bikini

Good Grief, I could have done without that visual.

And no, that gun doesn't "do it" for me. But whatever blows your hair back.

Let's see, so far we have a department store mannequin that looks like Rosie O'Donnell, in a bikini, with stinky feet. That pretty much sums it up.

I can't believe someone would drill holes in a gun and install some kind of bracket to hold the TV remote or something.

This TV remote bracket for my gun sounds like a billion dollar idea to me. Someone needs to get to making them.

sorry... I'm not really a race gun guy, as witnessed by the CZ I posted pics of... can someone tell me what the tab is above the front of the trigger guard, that's mounted on the back to holes of the optic mount... looks like a thumb rest, but seems quite a stretch ???

Reminds me of a country song:

"I Like My Women Just a Little on the Trashy Side"

"too much lipstick, too much rouge"!

All the Best,
D. White

I looked at the Tanfoglio line pretty hard at this past SHOT show and am warning up so I agree with you.
I have requested a test pistol from them so I can get a first hand look at what they offer but I hear good things.
It took me a little bit to warm up to the CZ 75B looks wise, but I appreciate it as well as the Tanfoglio.
