Ledbetter had the best response. Write a polite non-judgemental letter to the teacher (with copies to the principal and school board) asking if you heard right and what was the basis for the teachers opinion.

Thankfully there's age categories and with Miss D's daughter in kindergarden, there's no competition between your kid and hers for the Bright Daughter Award. Good work NoBan and please pass our admiration onto your kid.
